"Bits & Pieces"

1. Giant Bonus Bucks -
Safeway E-script and General Mills Boxtops - CBA will continue to participate in the Giant Bonus Bucks for schools and General Mills box top program. Families can send the General Mills boxtops to the academy office with other paperwork or turn them in at any CBA activity. Be sure to register C.B.A. with your Giant (our school number for Giant is 01032) or your Safeway (our school number for Safeway is 500007197).

2. CBA Paperwork -
Just a reminder to families with students in grades K - 8 that the Quarterly Evaluation Forms (pink) are due each 9 weeks of instruction. Record of Instruction Forms are due at the end of each month. Also, please remember to put student names on the forms!

3. "Official" Report Cards -
CBA provides "official" report cards (bearing the school’s embossed raised seal) upon request for students K-8 for each quarter for families who may need them for good student discounts at local shops, etc. There is no charge for these report cards. Please allow 2 weeks.

4. Student I.D. Cards -
If you are in need of a student picture I.D. card for your enrolled son or daughter, simply send us a 1" x 1" picture - include date of birth, home address & phone number and social security number (optional). Allow 2 weeks. There is no cost for these cards.

 

5. Teacher Cards -
Teacher Cards are available for parents in CBA. Simply call the CBA office to request a card. These cards can be used at some area stores for discounts for school supplies. Please allow 2 weeks.

6. Work Permits -
CBA has an issuing officer for work permits. Work permits are needed for students ages 14 through 18 who are employed. They are available at the CBA office. Call the office to request a permit or if you have questions.

7. SAT/ACT Information -
High School students interested in registering for the SAT or the ACT tests should go on-line to www.collegeboard.com CBA’s college board code is 210407.

8. Official Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation -
Seniors and other high school students needing official transcripts and/or letters of recommendation from CBA staff or teachers should allow 2 weeks. The CBA office will be closed Dec. 24th to Jan. 4th for the Christmas holiday. If you need transcripts during that time be sure to get them in by Dec. 17th.

9. Book-it! -
Don’t forget to keep your student(s) challenged with their reading goals. To have the free pazza coupons sent just call at the end of the month once the student reaches their reading goal.
