God Made Music (K-7) by Praise Hymn Inc. helps elementary students learn to read music by using easy to follow workbooks with coloring pages and accompanying CDs. Students also learn to sing traditional folk songs like the Old Gray Mare, to recognize the instruments in the orchestra, and to appreciate classical music such as Peter and the Wolf. This is a gentle way to learn music. I loved doing the lessons with my boys and the teacher does not need a music background. Piano Lessons Offered in My Home Undergraduate Piano Performance from NC School of the Arts Graduate work at Indiana University, Bloomington Four years teaching experience at Virginia Commonwealth University & privately before getting married/having children. All six of our children play the piano as well as a second instrument which they can also teach with me supervising. My oldest is a sophomore in college, so I have had many years of experience. I am currently opening up my schedule for teaching others on Fridays and Saturdays. This will be a relaxed studio but I require minimum daily practice 5 days a week.

Piano Instruction in Anne Arundel County	Email to friend
My name is Courtney Crandell. I am a 2009 graduate of Cedar Brook Academy. I am seeking students ages 5 to 15 desiring to begin or further their education in  Piano  Theory  Musicianship Students will start with 30 minute lessons at $15 per half hour. Lessons will include instruction on keyboard skills and theory. I have studied piano for twelve years. I received my initial training from Linda Crandell. For five years, ending with my graduation from high school, I studied under Dr. Carol Wolfe-Ralph. From 2004 to 2009, I competed in fourteen piano events, including duo and quartet, on the local and state level. I placed in all but one competition. I also completed all ten levels of the Maryland State Music Teachers Association (MSMTA) Keyboard Musicianship Program Evaluations, receiving both the Intermediate and Advanced Honors Awards. I completed levels 4 through 7 of the MSMTA Theory Tests. I also received the Distinguished Musicianship Award from MSMTA. In addition, I have served as a church pianist for the past two years. I hope my qualifications will suit your needs.

Being organized by CBA family with 3 children who swim with coach year-round. Head coach is a GREAT Christian and works with other homeschool groups now.
