Portfolios must be maintained for all classes taken for credit. There are folders included in the high school notebook for you to us use. Use a separate folder for each of your credits and include:

• All written assessments (quizzes, reports, etch.) taken for that course over the semester. At least one written assessment is required each month for academic subjects. This is the only way we have to objectively measure the student's progress. Tests, for the most part, should not be open-book and should be designed to demonstrate mastery of material. 
• A log which documents time spent in non-academic courses: P.E., music, home economics, etc. (included in forms sections of handbook).
