The Flag House
September 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pmFree - $7.00
Come and enjoy a morning learning about Mary Pickersgill and the American flag that flew over Ft. McHenry and inspired the writing of the Star Spangled Banner. The trip will last approximately 1½ hours and will include a tour of the museum and house, a film, and a chance to view the year 1813 through the eyes/toys of the young people who lived in the house during this time. Since the museum is located in the Little Italy portion of Baltimore near the Inner Harbor, lunch could be special too! No strollers are allowed in the building due to space limitations. Cost of the field trip is $7 per person ages 5 and older and will be billed on your October bill. Don’t miss out on the fun! Make your reservations by clicking right here.
